Creating shipments

Shipments are created from the Corkship Shipments tab (Shopify) or Orders tab (Commerce7), which shows all paid, unfulfilled orders ready to ship.

Step 1 — Open the Shipments / Orders tab Corkship loads your pending orders and validates each delivery address against the Australia Post address database.

Step 2 — Review the order Check the order details, bottle count, and destination address. Orders with address warnings are highlighted — fix these in your store admin before proceeding.

Step 3 — Click Create Shipment Corkship assigns bottles to the optimal carton and submits the shipment to Australia Post. The tracking number appears within seconds.

Orders shipping to Victoria (VIC) automatically include Identity on Delivery as required by Liquor Control Victoria legislation.

Bulk orders (Commerce7 only) Use the Bulk Create tab to process multiple orders at once.

Printing labels

Step 1 — Select the order Orders with a created shipment show a Generate Labels (Shopify) or Print Label (Commerce7) button.

Step 2 — Click Generate Labels / Print Label Corkship fetches the PDF from Australia Post and opens it for printing or saving.

Step 3 — Attach the label to your parcel Print on A4 or thermal label stock. Attach securely with the barcode clearly visible.

Multi-parcel orders get a combined PDF with one label per parcel in a single download.

Submitting manifests

A manifest groups your shipments for Australia Post pickup or drop-off. You must close the manifest before handing parcels over.

Step 1 — Open the Manifests tab You'll see your current open manifest and any past closed manifests.

Step 2 — Review included shipments Shipments with labels printed are automatically added to the open manifest.

Step 3 — Close the manifest Click Close Manifest. This lodges and locks the manifest with Australia Post.

Step 4 — Download the Order Summary PDF Download the manifest summary PDF to hand to your driver or keep for your records.

Always close the manifest before your Australia Post driver arrives. Parcels in an open manifest will not be scanned into the network correctly.
