Install Corkship on Shopify
Before you start
Before installing, have the following ready:
- An active Australia Post eParcel account
- Your API Key, API Secret, and Account Number from the Australia Post Developer Centre
- Full admin access to your Shopify store
- Your dispatch address (sender address)

Step 1 — Install from the Shopify App Store
Visit the CorkShip listing on the Shopify App Store and click Install. When prompted, review and approve the permissions — Corkship requests access to orders, shipping, and fulfilment data.
After installation, Corkship appears under Apps in your Shopify sidebar. Corkship runs entirely inside your Shopify admin — you never need to leave to create shipments or print labels.
Step 2 — Connect your Australia Post credentials
- Open Corkship from your Shopify apps and go to Settings → Australia Post
- Paste in your API Key, API Secret, and Account Number (10 digits, zero-padded)
- Toggle Production Mode on before creating real shipments — leave it off while testing
- Click Save — a green confirmation means you're connected and ready to ship
Keep your API credentials confidential. Do not share them via email or store them in plain text. Corkship encrypts them at rest.
Step 3 — Set your sender address
- Go to Settings → Sender Address
- Enter your full dispatch address — business name, street address, suburb, state, and postcode
- Ensure the postcode matches your eParcel contract — if it doesn't, shipments may be rejected

Step 4 — Configure parcel sizes
Corkship automatically assigns the right carton to each order based on bottle count. Set up your packaging in Settings → Parcel Sizes.

Enter your packaging weight (the empty carton weight) separately from bottle weight — Corkship adds these together when calculating total parcel weight.
You're ready to ship
Once credentials, sender address, and parcel sizes are configured, head to the Shipments tab to start creating shipments. See our guide: Creating shipments, printing labels, and submitting manifests.
